HMD Global, the current power behind Nokia has officially released the latest Android 9.0 (Pie) for the Nokia 6 (2018) and the Nokia 7 smartphone in China. Aside the standard features of Android 9.0 Pie, the update also brings other new features to the phones. Some key highlights of the update includes support for Dual-SIM Dual-VoLTE, support for HD calls, and an optimized battery management system. It also brings support for aptX and aptX HD for Bluetooth audio, a redesigned camera UI and app store.

The Nokia 7 was released in 2017. It has a 5.2-inch 1080p display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 3 on top. It is powered by the Snapdragon 630 processor and comes with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The Nokia 6 (2018) on the other side is powered by same CPU as the Nokia 7, but comes with a a larger 5.5-inch display.

Camera department includes a 16MP f/1.8 camera with Zeiss optics sits at the back of both. Up-front, the Nokia 7 made use of a 5MP f/2.0 sensor, while the Nokia 6 (2018) has a larger 8-megapixel selfie sensor. Other specification includes a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and Bluetooth 5.0. It packs a 3000mAh battery with support for 18W fast-charging.
