Nokia C12 gets a Pro version with a larger 4000mAh battery and up to 3GB RAM

HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, has launched the Nokia C12 Pro smartphone in India. The phone is the latest addition to the C-series, which is known for providing affordable smartphones that pack great features.

The Nokia C12 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch HD+ screen with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and 2D toughened glass. It is powered by an Octa-Core Unisoc SC9863A1 processor with IMG8322 GPU, and is available in 2GB or 3GB RAM versions with 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage that is expandable with a microSD card.

The phone runs on Android 12 Go Edition, and promises to provide two years of quarterly security updates. It features a sleek Nordic design with an ergonomically designed casing that provides a better grip. The Nokia C12 Pro comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, and a 5MP front-facing camera.

One of the biggest upgrades from the Nokia C12 is its battery, which is now a 4000mAh removable battery, compared to the 3000mAh in the C12. The Nokia C12 Pro is also dust and splash proof with an IP52 rating.

The Nokia C12 Pro is available in Dark Cyan, Charcoal, and Light Mint colours, and is priced at Rs. 6,999 ($85) for the 2GB RAM version and Rs. 7,499 ($91) for the 3GB RAM version. It is now available from Nokia.com, and other online and offline stores.
