OnePlus has been making waves in the smartphone industry, and their latest device, the OnePlus Ace 2 (or 11R as it will be called outside of China), is set to continue that trend. As part of their promotional campaign, the company has revealed some exciting details about the camera on this new device.

The Ace 2 will be equipped with a Sony IMX890 sensor, which is the same camera used in the flagship OnePlus 11. This is worth mentioning because previous sub-flagships from the company usually come with weaker sensors compared to their flagship counterparts.

OnePlus has shared a few sample photos taken with the Ace 2, and they are impressive. Additionally, the company added some renders of the upcoming device, which showcases the block design of the three rear lenses, representing the current design signature of the company.

In addition to its impressive camera, the Ace 2 also boasts a range of top-of-the-line features. It will have a 120-Hz OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, a 5000mAh battery with 100-W charging, and support for 5G, NFC, and Wi-Fi. The device will run on Android 13-based firmware.

The OnePlus Ace 2 is set to be unveiled on February 7th, which is about 3-days from today and we can’t wait to see what other features and specifications the company has in store for us. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new device.
