OnePlus Ace 2V with 6.74″ display and Dimensity 9000 to be announced on March 7

OnePlus has announced the release of the Ace 2V, a budget-friendly version of its popular Ace 2 smartphone. The phone will be launched in China on March 7th and is expected to launch globally as the OnePlus Nord 3 with a few tweaks.

OnePlus has confirmed that the Ace 2V will feature a 2.8D micro-arc glass back, which is visually sharp and tactile. The phone will also retain the three-stage alter slider. The Ace 2V will come in Black Rock and Celadon Glaze color variants, both of which have unique styles.

Black Rock has a silk glass finish with a delicate frosted texture and is fingerprint-resistant, while Celadon Glaze has a smooth and natural finish similar to ceramic.

The Ace 2V is rumored to come with a 6.74-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, just like the Ace 2. However, it will be powered by a Dimensity 9000 SoC instead of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The phone is also expected to have a different camera setup, with a 64MP rear camera with OmniVision OV64M sensor, OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera.

Other rumored specifications of the OnePlus Ace 2V include up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB (UFS 3.1) storage. It will run on Android 13 with ColorOS 13 and will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C audio, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos.

The phone will also support 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. It will have a 5000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. Overall, the OnePlus Ace 2V appears to be a promising device for tech enthusiasts looking for a premium device with budget-friendly price tag. More details about the device will be revealed in the coming days, so stay tuned for updates.
