OPPO K10 and K10 Pro with Dimensity 8000-Max and Snapdragon 888 CPU announced

OPPO’s K10-series is now official. The series caries the vanilla K10 5G and the K10 Pro 5G models, with different CPUs powering both devices; latest Dimensity 8000-MAX on the vanilla K10, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 on the K10 Pro.

The K10 is given a 6.59-inch FHD+ screen with 1080 x 2412 pixels, 120Hz LCD screen and a sided notch on the screen. It is the world first smartphone to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8000-Max CPU, and to ensure optimal performance, the SoC is given Diamond VC liquid cooling system.

The model has 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM, pegged with either 128/256 UFS 3.1 internal storage. It is given three camera lenses on the rear; a 64MP main snapper with F/1.8, 8MP ultrawide lens with f/2.2 and a third 2MP macro shooter, while the frontal lens is a 16-megapixel lens. Power is supplied from a 5000mAh battery that support 67W charger.

OPPO K10 Pro

As for the Pro model, the screen is a little larger at 6.62-inches, and now, the panel is an E4 AMOLED, rocking a 120Hz refresh, 720Hz touch sampling rate and up to 1300 nits of screen brightness. The CPU on here is Snapdragon 888, backed by either 8/12GB LPDDR5 and 128/256 UFS3.1 internal storage.

The camera setup on the phone is almost identical to the standard model, except that the main rear shooter is upgraded to 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor, which has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Battery power on here comes from the same 5000mAh juice, but with faster 80W SuperVOOC charger.

Both model has similar outward appearance except for the design on the camera module and their slight color difference. The OS on both phones are also the same; Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1.

The standard K10 5G comes in Dark Night and Ice Blue colors, while the K10 Pro model is available in Titanium Black and Sunny Blue colors. Pricing for both models are as follows.

Preordering for both models is already ongoing in China. Official sales will begin from April 28th.
