Toke Makinwa OPPO Reno2 launch in Nigeria 1 1

The Nigeria smartphone market is part of Oppo’s targeted market segment, but it is not one of the company’s top focused market segment. As such, the company only bring it entry level to mid-range smartphone to the country, and this happens sometimes, three to four months after such smartphones have existed in the company’s primarily targeted markets.

Now the Oppo Reno 3 which was launched back in December 2019 is about to crawl into the Nigerian smartphone market after four months of launch. There are currently three variants of the Reno 3 which includes the standard Reno 3, a recently launched Reno 3 Pro and the Oppo Reno 3 Youth all of which came ina 6.4-inch Full-HD+ display.

Although there is currently no official confirmation of which of the Reno 3 the company intends to launch in the country, but if the teasers on Oppo Nigeria Twitter page is anything to go by, then might be bringing the standard Oppo Reno 3 which runs on the Mediatek Dimensity 1000L.

Where the confusion lies however, is the fact that 5G network is not in full reality in the country yet, as a result we were not really sure if Oppo will launch the Reno 3 with Dimensity 1000L which is a 5G network CPU, or the company will come up with a downgraded version of the Reno 3 with a 4G LTE CPU. These and more we will find out when the phone goes official within this month or next.

As for the Reno 3, the phone went official back in December last year with the aforementioned Dimensity 1000L octa-core CPU. It jas 6.4-inch FHD+ display with tear dropping notch overhead. The device has four camera lenses at the back; a 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP sensors, and a single 32 MP upfront. It is powered by a 4025mAh battery, and run on the latest Google Android 10.0 out of the box.
