Next week, OPPO and it OnePlus sub-brand will announce two new foldable smartphones: the OPPO Find N3 and the OnePlus Open. Both devices are expected to be released in different regions and with an excellent target audience.
While we wait for more details about the official colors of the new devices, Chinese Weibo has been dishing leaks of these upcoming devices from varying perspectives. One of the latest leaks is a photo of the Find N3 in a new red colorway, sitting on a measuring scale.
The photo reveals that the Find N3 will weigh almost 245 grams, and come with a thickness of about 12.44mm when folded. This is notably thin since the phone itself is a foldable device. For comparison sake, the latest Galaxy Fold5 comes in a 13.4mm thick body when folded.
So at 12.44, the Find N3, (a.k.a; OnePlus Open) is relatively thin. It also appears to have a periscope camera, which will be part of the Hasselblad triple module.
Another detail that is clearly visible in the photo is the rear leather texture, which was previously confirmed for the black version of OnePlus Open.
As far as painting goes, we know that the Find N3, and of course, the OnePlus Fold will comes in Black, Gold, Green, and Red. The announcement is set for October 19, which is Thursday of next week.
