A tipster had revealed few hours ago that a flagship smartphone was being developed by Realme, and that this new device could be named Realme Ace. Well, seems the tipster missed the initial letter ‘R’, and it seems more likely that OPPO will continue ‘Acing’, while Realme will be ‘Racing’.

To further buttress the leak, GSMArena released some tips on an upcoming Realme device with RMX2202 as the model number. This device is also codenamed Race, and has the new Snapdragon 888 on the inside, along with Android 11 OS with Realme UI 2.0.

The leak also revealed that the Realme Race will offer 12GB RAM along with 256GB internal storage. The outward look of the device is not too far from the looks of OPPO’s Ace2 smartphone launched earlier this year. So there is a rounded camera module at the real of the Realme Race, housing four snappers, and a single frontal selfie camera could be housed in a punch hole notch upfront.

Since the device’s brain power comes from Qualcomm upcoming Snapdragon 888 CPU, we will simply wait for the launch of Xiaomi’s Mi 11 to know what else to expect with the Realme Race.
