Are you one of those expecting the Turbo version of Redmi Note 13 series? Well, sorry, theoretically, there won’t be a Redmi Note 13 Turbo. But there will be a Redmi Turbo 3, which should be the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, (technically).
Xiaomi has shaken things up with its Redmi smartphone lineup, revealing a brand new series – the Redmi Turbo! This development comes alongside the news that the previously anticipated Redmi Note 13 Turbo won’t be arriving under that name.
Instead, Xiaomi is taking things in a new direction. The “Little Tornado,” as it was previously codenamed, will officially be known as the Redmi Turbo 3. This powerhouse smartphone promises flagship-level performance thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, all at a price tag expected to undercut the base models in the Redmi K series. Enticing news for budget-conscious users right?.
The “Turbo 3” numbering might raise high expectations for some Xiaomi fans. After all, the company released four T-series models in recent years, initially teased as part of a “Turbo” line. This includes the Redmi Note 11T Pro, Redmi Note 11T Pro+, Redmi Note 12T Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Turbo.
If price well, the Turbo 3 should be a good contender to the likes of Samsung’s recently announced Galaxy A55. Thankfully, the wait for the Redmi Turbo 3 won’t be long! Xiaomi has confirmed a launch date before the end of April, so give or take, the Turbo 3 will arrive within the next 4 weeks.
