A new Realme smartphone is said to be launched soon. The smartphone is under the Realme 5 series line up and that is the Realme 5i. This smartphone has bagged so many certifications and that means that the launch date is no longer far. It comes with a model number RMX2030. Realme 5i has received Wi-fi certification which reveals that it will come with dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
It will be launched in India and that’s why it got Indian’s BIS certification. It also has been certified by Indonesia’s TKDN, confirming that the phone might be launched in a couple of other Asian countries too. The smartphone will run on Android 9 pie with firmware version of RMX2030EX_11_A.08_191130. None of this listings revealed the specifications of the smartphone. It is only the BIS certification that certified it with its full moniker, others are certifying it with its model number.
The Realme 5s was recently announced in India and that smartphone has a very good specs. Since we don’t know the specifications of the Realme 5i, we guess it might be similar with Realme 5s in some ways as it’s still under the Realme 5 family. To recall, the Realme 5s was launched with a 6.5-inch display, it’s an HD+ display which means it has a resolution of 720 by 1600 pixels, the device has a PPI of 269 and 20:9 aspect ratio.
It’s an IPS LCD panel screen with 82.7% screen to body ratio, the display is also protected by Gorilla Glass 3+. Under the hood, it is powered by Snapdragon 665 Chip which has an Octa core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, it runs on Android 9 pie with ColorOS 6 out of the box and Adreno 610 for graphics or gaming. The processor is also paired with a 4gb/64gb ROM and 4gb/128gb internal storage.
In terms of camera, this device spot a quad rear cameras which are the 48mp camera with f/1.8 aperture accompanied by a led flash, 8mp ultra wide lens with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP dedicated macro camera with f/2.4 aperture and 2mp depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, on the front, it has 13mp selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture, both the front and back camera records video in 1080p at 30fps. What is keeping the light on is a 5,000mAh Li-Po battery which supports upto 10W charging. Realme 5i specifications won’t differ much from the Realme 5s specs listed here, let’s wait and see.
