Realme has just launched its latest smartphone, the C55, in Indonesia. The device belongs to the company’s C series and boasts an impressive 6.72-inch FHD+ 90Hz LCD screen. Additionally, the screen-to-body ratio of 91.4% and an 8MP camera inside the punch-hole make for an excellent viewing experience.
One of the standout features of the C55 is the mini capsule, a software feature that provides essential information like phone charge status, low battery warning, data usage, steps taken, and walking distance for the day more seamlessly than before.
The phone is powered by the Helio G88 with up to 8GB of RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. Furthermore, it boasts a 64MP rear camera along with a 2MP depth sensor. Additionally, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging that charges the phone fully in 63 minutes.
The realme C55 specifications also include a 6.72-inch (2400 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 680 nits brightness. The device has a 12nm Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G88 processor with Dual 2GHz Cortex-A75 and Hexa 2GHz 6x Cortex-A55 CPUs, along with ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. Additionally, it offers 6GB RAM with 128GB (eMMC 5.1) storage/8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 256GB (eMMC 5.1) storage, expandable memory up to 1TB with microSD.
Realme C55 comes with a dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD) and runs on Android 13 with realme UI 4.0. The device has an 8MP front camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It weighs 189.5g and measures 165.6×75.9×7.89mm. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC.
The realme C55 comes in Sun Shower, Rainy Night, and Rainforest colors and is priced at 2,49,9000 Indonesian Rupiah ($162) for the 6GB + 128GB model, while the 8GB + 256GB model costs 2,999,000 Indonesian Rupiah ($195). The phone will be available for sale in Indonesia from March 8th.
