Realme GT Neo 5, the upcoming flagship smartphone from Realme, is getting closer to its official launch and the company continues to tease its features. The latest teaser coming in from China has revealed that camera duties on the device will be handled by Sony’s IMX890 sensor.
This is the same image sensor that has been rumored to power OPPO’s upcoming Find X6 Pro and confirmed for the OnePlus Ace 2 (aka, the OnePlus 11R). But unlike the Ace 2, Realme is yet to showcase any sample images shot on the GT Neo 5.
Although, the camera is expected to feature optical image stabilization, Turbo RAW mode, and computational photography. It will also include three lenses on the rear, but details about the other two cameras are yet to be known. Based on previous leaks, it is expected to have 8-megapixel wide and 2-megapixel macro sensors.
In addition to its impressive camera capabilities, the Realme GT Neo 5 is expected to come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, a 120Hz OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, and a spectacular decorative element – a multifunctional LED ring.
Another standout feature of the device is its record-breaking 240W ultra-fast charging, the very first smartphone in the entire world with such a fast charging capacity. The official presentation of the Realme GT Neo 5 will take place on February 9th in China, which is about 3-days from today.
