Realme GT2 is a 6.62-inches smartphone with Snapdragon triple 8

Realme have just announced their GT2 smartphone, and as you would probably expect, the device is top spec’d, but with mid-range price. The phone comes in a 6.62-inches screen, and takes it processing power from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon triple eight CPU. The screen on the GT 2 is AMOLED, and it has 120Hz refresh rating with up to 1300 peak brightness nits.

The phone has 8-layers of heat dissipation structure with 3D tempered liquid-cooled VC, 3D multi-graphene among others, all aimed to keep the GT2 optimized and running as smooth as possible.

The phone come with black and blue AG glass models with matte finishing on the rear, and another variants has White and Green, with Paper Tech Master Design. In a nutshell, the design on the realme GT 2 is a beauty to behold.

As for the camera department, the phone features 50-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. These combinations are cable of both 4K and 1080p videos, and there is Optical Image stabilization on the main camera as well.

There is also a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front, and the phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging that can charge up to 100% in just 33 minutes. Interestingly, there is Google Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 out of the box.

The GT 2 comes in Forged Black, Titanium Blue, Master Paper and Master Sen colors, and it is priced as follows;

  1. 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM = 2,699 yuan or $424 USD
  2. 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM = 2,899 yuan or $456 USD
  3. 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM = 3,199 yuan or $504 USD

The phone is already available on pre-order in China, and the full sales will begin from January 7th. Early shoppers will be threated with 100 yuan discount on all storage variants.
