Realme has just introduced two smartphones to the Chinese market; the Realme V30 5G and Realme V30t 5G. Both of these will be exclusive to the Chinese smartphone market, and both will be offered with an affordable price tag.

Just as the naming suggests, both the V30 and the V30T are 5G-enabled smartphones. Based on the specifications we’ve seen so far, it is unclear what the differences between these two 5G devices will be. The only obvious thing we can see is that the two will have different price tags.

The standard V30 5G starts at 1,099 CNY or $162 for the 6+128GB version and 1,299 CNY or $191 for the 8+128GB version. The V30t 5G, on the other hand, will start at 1,299 CNY or $191 for the 6+128GB version and 1,499 CNY or $220 for the 8+128GB version. But the key reason for their price difference is not known.

The chipset used in these smartphones is not officially mentioned, but it is believed to be the MediaTek Dimensity 700. The two phones will have 6 or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There will also be support for memory cards.

The models come in 6.5-inch screen diagonals, with 720×1600 pixels resolutions and a drop-shaped cutout for the front camera. None of the models seems to offer any special refresh rating, but there is a standard 5000mAh on the inside of both phones.

The front camera is capped at 5MP on both phones, while the rear cameras consist of a 13MP main camera and a secondary camera, which should be a wide-angle lens. Other features of the models include a-sided fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C, and dual-band Wi-Fi.

The Realme V30 5G and Realme V30t 5G are affordable 5G smartphones for budget-minded folks. Realme is yet to begin the sales of these smartphones in China, and we don’t know anything about international availability, yet.

Both smartphones are available in Dark Night and Dawn Gold colors, both support dual Nano-SIMs, and both are powered by Google’s Android 12 running underneath Realme UI 3.0.
