Realme V5 5G have just been announced in China. It packs a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and boost above 90% screen-to-body ratio (advertised). The device utilizes a punch-hole, housing the 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The new realme V5 5G as the name suggests is a 5G network enabled device, all thanks to the presence of the Mediatek Dimensity 720 SoC, which supports 5G SA/NSA. The CPU is an octa-core chip with a two 2.0GHz Cortex-A76 and six 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 CPUs, along with Mali-G57 MC3 GPU.
The phone is also back by either 6/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a USF 2.1 128GB internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via SD card. At the back, there is a 48-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel 4cm macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
There is a fingerprint scanner kept at the side of the device. The Silver coloured version has a large realme logo with a three-dimensional effect and the other colour variants feature new matte stitching design with asymmetrical aesthetics. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging, and runs Android 10 with realme UI out of the box.

The Realme V5 comes in Silver, Green and Blue colours. It is currently available on pre-order in China, with the official sales starting on the 7th of August. As for pricing;

- While the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs 1,899 yuan ($272).
