Realme launched the Realme X7 and X7 Pro smartphones in India. This official launch took place in early February, and this device is different from the original model, which was sold in China.

The Realme devices were unveiled with Andriod 10 despite being released in 2012. This was disappointing to some users who expected the device to launch with Android 11. The tech manufacturers seem to be rectifying their error by releasing the Android 11 update only available to specific users.

The update does not come as a surprise as the company already made the announcement a month after the launch of the Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro. They stated that the devices will receive the Realme UI 2.0 Early Access update in the second half of 2021. And, the tech manufacturers delivered as promised.

They released the update for Realme X7 Pro, and now, the update is available to the X7 version. The brand provided the update to the latter handset last month, and now the company has opened registrations for the former phone.

In an official announcement post made on Realme Community, the tech company stated that Realme X7 users should be running any of these software builds to enroll in the Early Access Program.

After you’ve been selected for the update, the company manufacturers will begin to roll out beta software build via OTA. Users are also given the option of rolling back to Andriod 10 when they are not satisfied with the new update. The downside to this is that the internal storage of the device will be lost in the process.
