Samsung A54 5G goes official with Android 13, One UI 5.1 and Exynos 1380 CPU

Along with the Galaxy A34 5G, Samsung also announced the Galaxy A54. The device boasts a 6.4-inch FHD+ (1080×2340 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity-O HDR Display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits brightness.

It is powered by an Octa Core (2.4GHz Quad A78 + 2GHz Quad A55 CPUs) Exynos 1380 processor with Mali-G68 MP5 GPU and runs on Android 13 with Samsung One UI 5.1.

The Galaxy A54 comes in two memory variants: 6GB or 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, respectively, which is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. It also features a hybrid dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) slot.

In terms of the camera setup, the Galaxy A54 features a quad-camera system on the back, including a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and an LED flash. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.

Other notable features of the Galaxy A54 include an in-display fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C audio, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, dust, and water resistance (IP67), and a 5000mAh (typical) battery with 25W fast charging. The Galaxy A54 is available in Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White colors. The 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at €489 ($523) / £449 ($544), while the 8GB + 256GB variant costs €539 ($576) / £499 ($605).

The Samsung Galaxy A54 appears to be a solid mid-range 5G smartphone with decent specs and features, including a high refresh rate display, ample storage, and a large battery with fast charging capabilities.
