Samsung is accelerating its efforts to bring the latest Android 14 operating system with its One UI 6 custom interface to its smartphones.
Following the initial rollout to the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S22 series, Samsung has now expanded the update to four more devices: the Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy S23 FE, and Galaxy A54.
The update brings a host of new features and enhancements, including a refreshed design, smoother animations, improved privacy controls, enhanced multitasking capabilities, and more customization options. It also includes the November 2023 security patch to address known vulnerabilities and improve system stability.
The rollout of the update may vary depending on the region, but Samsung expects to update all eligible devices in the coming weeks.
The changelog for the update is largely consistent across all devices, with the exception of the Galaxy A54, which may not support certain features due to hardware limitations.
Samsung plans to update a total of 31 devices to Android 14 with One UI 6 by the end of the year. This demonstrates the company’s commitment to providing long-term software support for its smartphones, ensuring that users have access to the latest features and security enhancements.
