TCL have just announced two smartphones in their 40-series. The models includes the TCL 40R 5G, and the TCL 405, which is a 4G device. Both of these phones are powered by a 5000mAh battery, but while the 4G model has a tradition 10W charger, the 5G model is given 15W fast charger.
Both smartphones comes in a 6.6-inches screen with 720 x 1612 pixels, a dewdrop notch and a minimum of 400 nits of brightness. However, while the TCL 405 has a tradition screen with 60Hz refresh, the screen on the TCL 40R 5G supports 90Hz refresh.

TCL 40R 5G and TCL 405 pricing and availability
The TCL 40R 5G comes in Stardust Purple and Starlight Black, while the 405 is painted in Lavender Purple and Space Dark color. Both models are already listed on the company’s Italian website. As for pricing, the 40R 5G will cost 240 EUR, an equivalent of $237. Pricing for the TCL 405 is not known as at when this post was written.
