Tecno Camon 11 and Camon 11 Pro Collections: Specs, Review and Price

Tecno unveiled the Camon X back in April this year, about 6 months ago. Subsequently, the company introduced same device in the Indian market as Tecno Camon iClick. But as it is currently, the Tecno Camon iClick has been recently updated to the Tecno Camon iClick2. This put the Tecno Camon X on the radar for a similar refreshing, and as we all expected, Tecno has officially unvield the Camon 11 and Camon 11 Pro in Africa.

Tecno has been playing in India lately, announcing multiple devices here and there. In a radar of just a month or so, the company unveiled 6 smartphones under it Camon I-series, all targeted at the Indian market. The most recent of them is the Camon iClick2, announced today. Last week, the company unveiled three (Tecno Camon iAir 2+, Camon i 2, and Tecno Camon i 2X). Previously, Tecno had unvield Camon isky 2 and the Camon iAce, amounting to 6 smartphones within a month+.

Tecno Camon 11 and Camon 11 Pro Display, CPU and Storage

As far as specification goes, the Tecno Camon 11 and the Camon 11 Pro sports a 6.2-inch display with a resolution of 1,520 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The Camon 11 Pro is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P22 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, while the standard Camon 11 host the Mediatek MT6761 Helio A22 chip, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, both expandable up to 128GB vis SD card.

On the camera department, you get a 24-megapixel front-facing camera on the camon 11 Pro, and 16-Megapixel front-facing sensor on the standard camon 11. At the back, the Tecno Camon 11 Pro host a 16 + 5 MP dual rear camera sensors, leaving the Camon 11 with a dual 13MP + 2 MP sensors. You also get Quad-LED Flash and up to f/2.4 aperture lens on the rear panel. Of course, as you would expect, I’m a big lover of Tecno’s quad-LED.

Most Tecno’s phones with quad-LED flashes that I’ve used, always has better camera low light performance than most competitors offering.

The cameras are aided by features like AI HDR, AI Beauty, Panorama, Super Pixel mode and Bokeh mode.

OS and Battery

The Camon 11 Pro and her sibling, Camon 11, boots Tecno’s proprietary HiOS 4.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Other features include 3,750mAh battery and connectivity options like 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/ GLONASS.
