If you are familiar with the Camon series, you’d know that Tecno has been alternating the Pro and Premier models since the Camon 16 series. The only series that had the Pro and Premier models together was the Camon 15 series. Since the 15 series, it has been either a Pro or Premier model at a time.
So there was Camon 16 Premiere, 17 Pro, 18 Premier, 19 Pro, and now, the Camon 20 Premier is in the works. The device was recently sported in the database of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), which suggests that it is in the works and may launch anytime soon.
Unfortunately, the EEC listing does not reveal any key specifications of the Camon 20 Premier 5G. The listing only mentions its model number as CK9n. However, it is likely that the device will offer top-notch front and rear cameras, similar to its predecessors.
The Tecno Camon 18 Premier, for example, featured a 32-megapixel front camera and a 64-megapixel main camera on the back. Its rear camera setup also included a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens with gimbal OIS and an 8-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. It is possible that the Camon 20 Premier 5G will have similar camera features, or even better techs.
The Tecno Camon 20 lineup may include multiple models, such as the standard Camon 20, Camon 20 Neo, Camon 20 Pro 5G, and Camon 20 Premier 5G. However, it is unclear when the device will be launched, but it may arrive in the second quarter of this year. As more information is released, we will have a better understanding of what the Camon 20 series will offer, so stay tuned.
