The Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G, initially launched in February 2024 alongside the Tecno Camon 30 series, is now available for purchase in Nigeria. The phone was not available in most regions at launch, but can now be found across multiple online and offline stores in the country.
The Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G is the most feature-packed phone in the Camon 30 lineup. It boasts a large 6.77-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals and responsiveness.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate processor, which should provide ample power for most users. It comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, with the option to virtually expand the RAM by an additional 12GB.
The Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G features a triple-camera system on the back, with all three cameras being 50 megapixels each. The main wide sensor is the largest of the three, with a 1/1.56″ sensor size and optical image stabilization (OIS) for sharper photos and steadier videos.
The phone also has a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens that offers 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor for capturing wider scenes. The front-facing camera for selfies is also a high-resolution 50-megapixel sensor.
The Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 70W fast charging, which can reportedly charge the phone to 100% in just 45 minutes. The phone runs on Android 14 with Tecno’s HIOS 14 on top and is available in two colors: Alps Snowy Silver and Hawaii Lava Black.
The Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G is priced at ₦685,000 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant in Nigeria. Note, some online stores might list this device as having 24GB RAM. This is because the built-in 12GB RAM is expandable up to 24GB RAM using vRAM.
