Tecno Camon 30 Premier

This is the Tecno Camon 30 Premier, also known as the Tecno CL9. It is the top model in the company’s recently announced Camon 30-series. In terms of look and design, the device is not much of different from its siblings, however, because it comes with a dedicated periscope telephoto lens, there seem to be some protrusions happening just before the main camera island, giving it a slightly different look from the other models in the series.

Talking about camera, it is one of the major areas that set the Camon 30 Premier apart from its siblings. Unlike the Camon 30 Pro which came with dual 50-megapixel cameras, and a third 2-megapixel depth sensor, the 30 Premier has a total of three (3) 50-megapixel independent snappers on the rear.

These include a primary 50-megapixel which is the same Sony IMX890 with OIS used on the Pro model. Then, there is a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor, also found in the Pro mode. However, there is the addition of a third 50-megapixel periscope telephoto capable of 3x optical zoom.

Also, the display on the Camon 30 Premier is more premium than those of its siblings. It is both brighter and sharper and comes with a Quad-HD+ screen. The panel is 6.77 inches with 1264 x 2780 pixels, and it also has overall better-built quality since it uses aluminum as its frame and rear panel.
