In aaddition to the Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition, Tecno will also be bringing the POP 6 Pro to the Indian market very soon. The company did confirm this via it official social media handles, and the launch page Amazon.in has even gone online.
As the naming implies, the POP 6 Pro is the higher version of the POP 6-series. But since the vanilla models never made it to the Indian market, the Pro version will be the first in the series to be available in India.
Recall that this same POP 6 Pro was recently introduced in the Bangladesh market with an asking price of about 10,490 Bangladesh Taka, although the expected pricing within the Indian market is yet to be known.
But thanks to the company’s teasers and the specifications seen on the Bangladesh model, we know few things to expect. These includes a 6.56-inches IPS screen with a dewdrop notch on the head and 720 x 1600 pixels resolution.
The phone may like rely on the Helio A22 CPU from MediaTek, and it will boot Google Android 12 OS with HiOS 8.6 out of the box. Other known specifications includes 8-megapixel dual camera on the rear and a single 5-megapixel selfie shooter up-front.
The phone will house 5000mAh battery on the inside, and it will have 2GB RAM with 32GB ROM. And as seen on the Bangladesh model, it might come in Polar Black, Peaceful Blue and 7° Purple color. No specific date has been mentioned for the launch yet, but on or before next week should not be out of place.
