The Tecno Pouvoir 4 and the Pouvoir 4 Pro are now official in Myanmar. The Pouvoir-series are battery centric smartphones from Tecno Mobile, and as it is with the custom of the company, this device will keep traveling gradually, from countries to countries until it is available across all market(s) where Tecno products are sold.
Both the Tecno Pouvoir 4 and the Pouvoir 4 Pro shares a lot in common. Aside being the successors of the Pouvoir 3 and the Pouvoir 3 Plus of last year, they both come in a new and large 7-inches display with 720 x 1640 pixels resolution, with a dewdrop notch atop the screen housing the selfie camera.
It seems tablet sized 7-inches display is becoming the new 2020 standard for Transion Holdings. Infinix recently announced two smartphones with 7-inches display; the Infinix Note 7 and the Hot 9 Play. The Pouvoir 4-series are Tecno’s second and third smartphone with 7-inches display in 2020, with the first being the recently launched Tecno Spark 5 Air, with same 7-inches display as well, and iTel Mobile could follow suit soon.
The Pouvoir 4 and the 4 Pro does not have same specifications all through. For example, the RAM and ROM of the 4 Pro is 6GB and 128GB respectively, while the vanilla 4 has just 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Not just that, the CPU in Pouvoir 4 is a quad-core Helio A22 processor clocked at 2.0GHz, while the Pouvoir 4 Pro has an octa-core Helio P22 at 2.0GHz with PowerVR GE8320 GPU on both sides.
The camera setup on both phones are not same, too. Although both device has four camera modules at the back, but the main sensor and the selfie differs on both side. While the Pro version has 16-megapixel main shooter and 16-megapixel selfie, the standard version has 13-megapixel at the back and 8-megapixel selfie upfront, with 4-LED at the back, and dual LED upfront on both phones.
Finally, battery. Yes, the Pouvoir 4 and the 4 Pro both has 6000mAh battery as well as Micro USB 2.0 port, but the Pouvoir 4 Pro has 18W fast charging, while the standard version does not. Color options includes Cosmic Shine, Ice Jadeite, Fascinating Purple on the vanilla version, and Ice Jedite, Misty Gray, Purple on the Pro version.
Both versions has dual SIM support with 4G LTE network on both SIMs. You are also getting a rear placed fingerprint scanner as well as the latest Android 10, underneath Tecno’s proprietary HiOS v6 out of the box.
