Tecno has just released an optimization update for the recently announced Spark 4. The OTA update brings overall system optimization and fixes few usability issues reported through users feedback.
The update is currentfly available only to owners of the standard Spark, not the Spark 4 Air. So if you own one, you should have received an update notification already. But if you have not, or you unknowingly cleared out the notification, just go to your device “settings“, click on “System“, tap on “System Update“, select “Online Update“, download and apply the update.
The update itself is around 350MB. But after you have downloaded the update, ensure to have your device charged above 50%, or have it plugged to external power source before you begin applying the update.
Note that the new update does not bring you new Android OS or the Android 10, but it a performance optimization update. Some features in the new update includes;
- Optimized stability issues.
- Optimized system stability and performance
- Faster fingerprint scanner.
- Added wallpaper carousel on the lock screen.
- Overall improved system performance.
Tecno rarely pushes OTA update, perhaps, this might be the beginning of change for all Tecno fans and phone users.
