Just as was reported, Tecno announced its Camon 20 series today, consisting of Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro, and Camon 20 Pro 5G smartphones. The three phones have a similar design with a unique back camera island and a 120Hz 6.67-inch AMOLED display.
Camon 20 4G
The Camon 20 comes equipped with a 12nm Helio G85 SoC and features 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone boasts a 64MP primary camera lens with a 2MP macro shooter and a QVGA module behind the third lens.
It also features a 32MP selfie camera with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone runs on Android 13 with Tecno’s HIOS 13 on top and has an IP53 rating for limited water and dust resistance. It is available in Predawn Black, Serenity Blue, and Glacier Glow colors.
Camon 20 Pro 4G
The Camon 20 Pro, on the other hand, is equipped with a 6nm Helio G99 SoC and features 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It features a 64MP primary camera lens with a 2MP macro shooter and a QVGA module behind the third lens.
The phone boasts an optical fingerprint scanner embedded under the screen and a 32MP selfie camera. It runs on Android 13 with Tecno’s HIOS 13 on top and has an IP53 rating for limited water and dust resistance. The phone is available in Serenity Blue and Dark Welkin colors.
Camon 20 Pro 5G
The Camon 20 Pro 5G is one of the first smartphones launched with MediaTek’s new 6nm Dimensity 8050 chipset, which is a rebadged Dimensity 1300 from last year. It features 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and boasts a 64MP primary camera lens with OIS and a 2MP depth sensor, along with a 2MP macro shooter.
The phone also features an optical fingerprint scanner embedded under the screen and a 32MP selfie camera. The Camon 20 Pro 5G runs on Android 13 with Tecno’s HIOS 13 on top and has an IP53 rating for limited water and dust resistance. The phone is available in Serenity Blue and Dark Welkin colors.
All three phones are powered by 5,000mAh batteries with 33W charging support. Pricing and availability for the Camon 20 series smartphones are yet to be confirmed by Tecno. This update will be added shortly.
