Redmi is a sub-brand under Xiaomi. We’ve seen the company offered almost everything developed by Xiaomi at an affordable price. From smartphones to smart watches, even TVs as well as PC. However, even though Xiaomi has some amazing tablets under it portfolio, Redmi has not been able to rebrand or relaunch any model till date. But that may be changing soon.

A new tablet renders believed to be a Redmi Pad have just popped up on the net. As per the accompanying specs, the tablet will sport a 10.6-inches screen with 2K display resolution. This screen will offer up to 400 nits of peak brightness with 10-bit colors, as well as a 90Hz refresh.

Rumor has it that the upcoming Redmi Pad Tablet will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 gaming CPU, and will be backed by either 3/4GB RAM, with 64/128GB ROM.

Interestingly, the upcoming Redmi tablet will offer four stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. These are flagship specs reserved for high-end tablets. Moreover, it will come in a thin 7mm body, and will weigh about 445 grams.

There will be an 8000mAh battery with 18W fast charger, while Google Android 12 with MIUI Pad 13 OS will runs out of the box. Camera offers will includes an 8-megapixel sensors on both sides.

The Redmi Pad tablet is expected to come in Graphite Gray, Moonlight Silver and Mint Green colors. Since September is almost over, all fingers are currently pointing to an October launch, with the price tag ticking from as low as 250 Euros or about 239 US Dollars.
