Ulefone has been known as a rugged smartphone maker. In fact, the company has series of smartphones ranges from outdoor-ready rugged devices, all the way to super larger battery units. The first company actually to debut a smartphone with a whooping 13,000mAh battery.
But in all these times, Ulefone has played a deef ears on tablet devices. Well, the company’s first Android tablet device is here, and it is powered by a UNISOC Tiger CPU, and offers up to 7,680mAh battery.
Alright, so don’t get carried away by the fact that there is ‘7’ in the naming. It actually a 10.1-inches screen, and not 7.0 incher device. The 10.1-inches screen has an IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels.
The Tab A7 is surely not an ultra high-end tablet, so you won’t be getting flagship level camera specs. But it still does offer a 13-megapixel main camera on the rear, while the frontal selfie side is handled by a single 5-megapixel lens.
Power is supplied by the aforementioned 7680mAh battery with 10W charging support. The company claims this capacity can keep the tablet alive for up to 465 hours in a single charge standby.
The above standby claim should be possible since the device itself is powered by the UNISOC SC9863A octa-core chipset. The SoC is maxed at 1.6GHz, integrated with PowerVR GE8322 GPU.
For storage option, you are getting a 64GB ROM on the inside, assisted by 4GB RAM. And should you runs out of storage, you can always attach an external SD card up to the tone of 128-Gigs. The Ulefone Tab A7 supports dual 4G VoLTE SIMs, has Bluetooth 5.0 and boot Google Android 11 out of the box. Pricing though may be touching a staggering $129 when it goes on sales later in the week.
