UMIDIGI has announced the G5 smartphone, a new mid-range device that features a 50MP dual-camera system, a 5150mAh battery, and a 90Hz display.

The G5 is powered by the UNISOC Tiger T606 processor, which is an octa-core chip with two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The phone has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate, which makes it smoother for scrolling and gaming.

The G5’s rear camera system consists of a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel sensor.

The phone is powered by a 5150mAh battery, which is said to last for up to two days on a single charge. It supports 10W fast charging.

The G5 runs Android 13 out of the box. It is available in five colors: Graphite Black, Pearl White, Jade Green, Lavender Purple, and Space Gray.

The price of the G5 has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be competitively priced. Note that UMIDIGI also has another smartphone called G5 Mecha, and it should not be confused with this vanilla G5. That model has rugged body with IP-rating, and it offers a larger 6000mAh battery.
