Tecno has officially listed the vanilla Spark 10, a cheaper variant of the Spark 10 Pro. Infinix just announced its Hot 30i in India a few hours ago, and if you ask me, both the Spark 10 and the Hot 30i are the same phone with a different moniker.
All you should know about Tecno vanilla Spark 10
The Spark 10 comes equipped with a low-powered MediaTek Helio G37 chipset, which is the same CPU used on the Hot 30i. And just like the Hot 30i, it does have a generous 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. You can even expand the RAM up to 16GB through memory fusion technology.
The screen of the Tecno Spark 10 is an IPS panel, with a diagonal of 6.6 inches and a resolution of 720×1612, outputting about 267 pixels per inch. The phone has a dewdrop notch on the front, and it is fitted with a fast 90Hz refresh rate.
The phone also has a 5000mAh battery, which supports 18W fast charging, and a dual-camera block, with a 50 MP main sensor and a secondary AI depth camera, leaving selfie duties in the hands of a frontal 8MP.
Other features of the Tecno Spark 10 include an NFC module, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, dual-band Wi-Fi, and GPS navigation. It runs on Android 13 and has a range of sensors, including an accelerometer, compass, zoom, light, and fingerprint.
Tecno Spark 10 pricing and availability
The price of the Tecno Spark 10 has not been announced yet, but it should be priced somewhere between the Spark 10C and the Spark 10 Pro, which should be somewhere between 80 to 90 thousand Nigerian Naira, or between 109 to 123 USD.
