Vivo has just announced two new smartphones in China, namely the iQOO Neo 8 Pro and the iQOO Neo 8. In this article, we will run through all you need to know about the duos, including their pricing and availability.

iQOO Neo 8

The standard model, iQOO Neo 8, is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, along with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB or 512GB of built-in UFS 3.1 storage. Unfortunately, the storage capacity cannot be expanded.

Powering the device is a 5000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. The front of the smartphone showcases a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, boasting a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels.

This display offers 10-bit color bit depth, a 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR capabilities.

In terms of cameras, the iQOO Neo 8 features a 50MP main shooter with OIS and an f/1.88 aperture, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor.

On the front, there’s a 16MP camera for capturing selfies, featuring an f/2.45 aperture. The device incorporates an in-display fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C port.

Running on OriginOS 3 based on Android 13, it also supports Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, and NFC connectivity options.

iQOO Neo 8 Pro

Moving on to the iQOO Neo 8 Pro, it shares a similar design and color options with its standard counterpart. However, it adopts a different chipset, the Dimensity 9200 Plus, featuring a 3.3GHz octa-core CPU and Immortalis-G715 GPU.

Paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, this device offers enhanced performance.

Like the iQOO Neo 8, it also sports a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The display specifications remain unchanged, with a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel offering a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels.

The camera setup receives an upgrade in the iQOO Neo 8 Pro, featuring a 50MP Sony IMX866V main sensor with an f/1.88 lens and OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

The front-facing camera remains consistent with the 16MP unit and f/2.45 aperture found in the standard model. The iQOO Neo 8 Pro also runs on OriginOS 3 based on Android 13 and supports Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, and NFC connectivity.
