Vivo has launched a new budget-friendly 5G smartphone in India, the Vivo T3 Lite 5G. This phone is a rebranded version of the global Vivo Y28s 5G that we talked about just yesterday, but with a slight variations in color options and missing NFC functionality.
Vivo T3 Lite 5G Specifications and Features
The Vivo T3 Lite 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, a modest processor aimed at the budget segment.
It comes in two RAM and storage configurations: 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. The storage can be further expanded using a microSD card, but the slot is a hybrid design, meaning you’ll have to choose between a second SIM card or additional storage.
The display is a 6.56-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling. While the resolution isn’t the highest, the 90Hz refresh rate is a welcome feature at this price point.
The phone packs a 5000mAh battery, a standard capacity for smartphones these days. However, the fast charging is limited to 15W, which might be a bit slow for some users.
The camera department consists of an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. On the back, there’s a dual-camera system with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor likely for depth effects.
Software and Others
The Vivo T3 Lite 5G runs on the latest Android 14 with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 14 on top. Connectivity options include 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, and the usual suite of navigation systems (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo). Notably, the phone lacks a gyroscope and NFC module, which some users might find inconvenient.
