Vivo just brought back an old familiar smartphone. It is the same older V21 you know, just that the name has been changed to V21s, and it is got a more recent Google Android OS.
Recall that Vivo had launched the V21 5G smartphone back in April of 2021. That model came in a 6.44-inches AMOLED screen, and was powered by the Dimensity 800U CPU from MediaTek. However, it was based on the then Android 11 OS with Funtouch 11.1.
The new V21s 5G is got the same screen and CPU as it older sibling, but brings Google’s Android 12 OS with Funtouch v12 out of the box. Only a single storage of 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM option is available, and it is got 4000mAh battery with 33W fast charger.
Vivo’s V-series has always been about it camera, especially those on the front. The V21s 5G is not an exception. It is got a 44-megapixel selfie shooter on the front, featuring autofocus and an optical image stabilization. The rear compartment houses 64MP main, 8MP UW and a third 2MP macro sensor.
