Vivo Y53s 4G model with Helio G80 CPU to launch in Kenya soon

A brand new vivo smartphone will be launching in Kenya soon. The model comes under the Y-series, actually the Y53s 4G model that houses MediaTek Helio G80 CPU and large 64-megapixel primary camera.

Vivo’s Y-series are the company’s budget smartphone, and even though you may not be getting the inherent power and camera prowess of the X or V-series, they still crafted to offer users incredible midrange performance, while keeping price as low as possible.

According to Vivo; the Y53s will come with a high-definition 64MP main rear camera bringing impressive clarity to its users at unbeatable value. Users will enjoy tailored enhancements across five aspects, including skin tone, texture, and facial features. They will be able to adjust the details manually, to create portraits and selfie videos that showcase their unique personality and selves.

Some of the key specifications to expect from this upcoming vivo smartphone includes Octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 CPU, large 8GB RAM and a 128GB internal storage, a set of three camera lenses, with the main snapper capped at 64-megapixel, 16-megapixel selfie, a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charger, Android 11 with Funtouch 11.1, all housed in a 6.58 Full-HD+ display that has a dewdrop notch overhead.

The device should be available in Deep Sea Blue and Fantastic Rainbow colors, while offering dual SIMs with 4G LTE network and Bluetooth 5.1 out of the box. Actual launch date is still not known, but the company confirmed that preordering activities will kick off from the 26th of July 2021.
