Vivo have just announced a new 5G smartphone dubbed Y75. The model has almost similar specifications with the 5G variant of her Y55, offering same Dimensity 700 CPU, but with 8-Gigs of RAM, instead of the 4GB RAM on the Y55 5G. The phone sports a 6.58-inches IPS screen with 1080 x 2408 pixels, and still maintains the old school dewdrop notch on the head.
Within the overhead notch, there is a single 16-megapixel frontal selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. However, the rear camera system consists of three different sensors; a 50-megapixel primary shooter with f/1.8, 2-megapixel depth and 2-megapixel macro with F/2.4 aperture on both sides.
Vivo is offering the Y75 5G in India at Rs. 21,990, an equivalent of about $293 US Dollars. The model is already on sales in India, and available color options includes Glowing Galaxy and Starlight Black.
The Y75 5G has 8GB RAM and 128-Gigs of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB. The model is driven by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charger. It is 164mm tall, and 75.84mm wide and weighs about 188 grams.
There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as dual SIM slot within it 8.25mm frame. These SIM cards has Dual 4G VoLTE, and 5G SA / NSA network. The Y75 5G is booted by Google Android 11, with Vivo’s FuntouchOS 12 out of the box.
Not a bad option for gamers as the Dimensity 700 chipset and 8GB of RAM will offer an amazing experience.
