Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro series. The two smartphones will be unveiled on September 26 at an event in Berlin, Germany.
The Xiaomi 13T series is expected to feature two models: the vanilla 13T and the Xiaomi 13T Pro. The Xiaomi 13T is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra processor.
The Xiaomi 13T Pro on the other hand is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, which is the same SoC used in the recently announced Redmi K60 Ultra. Both models are expected to have 6.67-inch AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates.
One of the key features of the Xiaomi 13T series is the use of Leica camera technology. Both models are expected to have triple-camera rear systems with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. The Xiaomi 13T Pro is also expected to have a 108-megapixel main sensor.
Other rumored features of the Xiaomi 13T series include up to 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, and 50W fast charging. The Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro are expected to be priced starting at EUR 499 and EUR 699, respectively.
In addition to the launch date and location, Xiaomi also revealed the slogan for the Xiaomi 13T series: “Masterpiece in sight.” This suggests that the company is confident that the two smartphones will be major upgrades over their predecessors.
We’ll have to wait until September 26 to see what the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro have to offer. However, the early rumors and details are certainly promising. Stay tuned for more updates on the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro.
