Xiaomi Civi 2 smartphone with dual 32-megapixel selfies camera, a pill notch display and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 CPU has just been announced. The phone comes in a 6.55-inches screen, featuring 1080 x 2400 pixels, curved 10-bit AMOLED panel, Dolby Vision and up to 120Hz refresh rating.
What is Xiaomi Civi 2 all about?
The Civi 2 is the third iteration in the Xiaomi Civi-series of smartphones. There was the Civi 1, then the Civi 1s and now the Civi 2. The new comer is fitted with Qualcomm top-end mid-range CPU, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, backed by Adreno 662 GPU.

Xiaomi Civi 2 is available in three storage options, and are priced as follows;
- 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM = 2399 yuan or $355 USD
- 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM = 2499 yuan or $349 USD
- 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM = 2799 yuan or $391 USD
Mid-range device, yet camera centric!
The rear of the Civi 2 begins with a revamped camera design. There are two independent modules housing three sensors all together. Of these three lenses, the primary shooter is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 lens featuring PDAF and F/1.8 aperture.

The other two snappers is a 20-megapixel ultrawide lens with 115° FoV, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with F/2.4 aperture.
For selfie, Xiaomi kept two 32-megapixel camera lenses on the front of the the Civi 2. One is a standard AF lens with PDAF and f/2.0 aperture, while the second snapper is an ultrawide lens with 100° FoV along with temperature sensitive four LED flash.

These dual selfie cameras are held in a pill-notch island, making it look like Apple’s latest iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.
The Civi 2 also comes with an in-screen fingerprint scanner, support dual speakers with Dolby Atmos chip, along with dual Nano-SIMs with both 4G/5G SA/NSA network. The phone has a 4500mAh battery, paired with 67W fast charger and boot Google Android 12 with MIUI v13 out of the box.
