In this era of foldable smartphones, we see more foldable smartphones coming out everyday. And whenever any announcement is being made, the device that follows always is something to look out for.
This time, it is the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi. Recently, Xiaomi announced their foldable smartphone they call Xiaomi MIX Fold 2. Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 consists of an 8.02-inch (2520 x 1080) super portrait display that can fold the screen, and a 6.52-inch display that is used when folding. More so it is 5.4 mm when unfolded and 11.2 mm when folded.
The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 SM8475 3.2 GHz octa core CPU, and it is 5G network compatible.
The device is a high- spec Android smartphone in which the main camera is designed with 50-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 8-megapixel triple cameras. It also features another 20-megapixels camera in front for taking selfies and video calling.
Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 comes with a RAM of 12GB, and internal storage capacity which is 256GB / 512GB / 1TB variants. It is compatible with fingerprint authentication for biometric authentication, and face authentication for unlocking as well.
This smartphone is powered by a 4500mAh battery, and it is compatible with 67W fast charging technology. It has USB Type-C connection terminal, but there is no earphone terminal on the device. There are two available colors of this smartphone; black and gray.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 smartphone is available in two colors; black and gray. The device will be released in China this August, 2022. Talking about the price, it will be sold at about 8,999 yuan ($1334.89) for the 12GB/256GB RAM variant, 9,999 yuan ($1483) for the 12GB/512GB RAM variant, and 11,999 yuan ($1779.90) for the highest 12GB/1TB RAM variant.
