Xiaomi have just introduced the Redmi 10 smartphone in Malaysia. The phone is both the direct successor to the Redmi 9-series of last year, as well as the smaller variant of the Note 10 series, and features a plastic build with three colors of Carbon Gray, Pebble White, and Sea Blue. It sport a 6.5-inches FHD+ screen with a center notch, LCD panel and a 90Hz refresh rating.
The model is the first Xiaomi phone to use MediaTek’s latest Helio G88 octa-core CPU. It has a 5000mAh battery that support 18W fast charging and 9W reversed wired charging, while Google Android 11 with MIUI v12.5 is available out of the box.
The phone has a side mounted fingerprint scanner, come with 8.92 mm body and weighs around 181 grams. As for storage options, you get either 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM or 6GB RAM with 128GB ROM, being LPDDR4X and eMMC 5.1.
Interestingly, the Redmi 10 has an impressive 50-megapixel primary lens, which is a Samsung’s ISOCELL sensor with f/1.8 aperture. In addition to the primary lens, you also get an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens, 2-megapixel depth and 2-megapixel macro lens.
The device still offer Gorilla Glass 3 protection, has a side mounted fingerprint scanner, support dual stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.1, IR blaster and 3.5mm audio jack.

The Redmi 10 is currently launched and available in Malaysia. It comes in Carbon Gray, Pebble White, and Sea Blue colors, and priced as follows;

- 6 RAM +128GB ROM RM 749 /Rs. 13,150 / $176 USD
Both of these models are already available in Malaysia, and should make it to other regions as well.
