Xiaomi Redmi 10 Power announced in India; drags 10a along

Xiaomi have just announced the Redmi 10 Power smartphone in India. The device did not come alone though; the 10a announced in China few weeks ago is now available in the country as well.

Beginning from the Redmi 10 Power, the device is almost a rebadged of the vanilla Xiaomi Redmi 10 launched in India earlier, although with two notable alterations. First, the RAM is now push to 8GB, and still be upgraded to 11GB, and secondly, the phone is now given a leather rear panel. As comparison, the vanilla Redmi 10 (Indian Model) has either 4/6GB RAM, and the rear panel is plastic.

Other specifications of the Redmi 10 Power includes a 6.71-inches HD+ screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core CPU, 50-megapixel primary camera with 2MP secondary depth lens, 5MP selfie, a 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charger and MIUI 13 based on Android 11.

As for the Redmi 10a, the specs begins from a 6.53-inches screen, Helio G25 CPU from MediaTek, 3/4GB RAM with 32/64GB ROM, a single 13-megapixel rear camera, 5MP frontal lens, a 5000mAh battery with 10W charger and Google Android 11 with MIUI 12.5.

The Redmi 10 Power comes in Power Black and Sport Orange color, while the Redmi 10a is painted in Charcoal Black, Sea Blue and Slate Grey colors. These two are priced as follows:

Both phones will sell via Amazon.in, Mi.com and via other online and offline stores. The Power model does not have sales date yet, but the 10a will start selling from April 26th.
