Just about 2days ago when the all new Redmi 8A was released, another device from the A lineup appeared on Xiaomi’s website, this device is said to be the Redmi 8A Pro, yea!! Redmi 8A Pro, i know what you are thinking, yes we also taught as much, this is the first ever Xiaomi A series lineup to come with a pro version, that’s what you taught right?
The Xiaomi Redmi 8A is a budget device from Xiaomi, it is the younger brother to the Redmi Note 8 and the Redmi Note 8 pro, now we are quite surprised that Xiaomi wants to take the Redmi 8A a notch higher by producing the Pro version which is called the Redmi 8A Pro, the recent Redmi 7A doesn’t come with a Pro version but this one comes with it.
It seems all smartphone manufactures has started remembering that there are budget people out there who are desperate to have a good Smartphone, nice move from Xiaomi.
The specs of this phone is quite unknown for now but in a day or two, the specs will reach us and also considering the fact that the Redmi A series devices are budget smartphones and they also cheap, we expect the price of the Redmi 8A Pro to not be more than $140.
As the Smartphone had the Pro suffix atttached to it’s moniker, it is expected to have an improved specs from the former Redmi 8A, the Redmi 8A comes with a 6.22 inch waterdrop notch display with a resolution of 720×1520.
The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor and it is paired with a 2GB/3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. In the camera department, the Redmi 8A comes with an 8MP front camera and a 12MP Sony IMX363 rear camera. The Redmi 8A runs on Android 9 Pie with a 5000 mAh battery which fuels the phone.
