The long anticipated Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 5G has been launched in China. The smartphone is the first device in this whole world to come with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 chipset. As was earlier reported, the Redmi K30 Pro will be launched on March next year but recently, it’s renders appeared which leaves us wondering whether it will be launched sooner than that. Redmi K30 is priced at 1599 Yuan for 6GB RAM + 64GB, 1699 Yuan for 6GB + 128GB, 1899 Yuan for 8GB + 128GB and 2199 Yuan for 8GB + 256GB model.

While the Redmi K30 5G comes with a price tag of 1999 Yuan for the 6GB RAM + 64GB variant, 2299 Yuan for 6GB RAM + 128GB variant, 2599 Yuan for 8GB RAM + 128GB variant and 2899 Yuan for 8GB RAM + 256 GB variant. The Redmi K30 5G will be available for sale from January 2020, while the Redmi K30 is available for sale in China.

Redmi K30 specs

Going to the Redmi K30 specs, on the front, it has a 6.67-inch display, it’s a Full HD+ display which means it has a resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels, the device has a PPI of 395 and 20:9 aspect ratio. It’s an IPS LCD panel screen with 84.8% screen to body ratio, the display is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, it is powered by Snapdragon 730G Chip which has an Octa core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, it runs on Android 10 Q with MiUI 11 out of the box and Adreno 618 for graphics or gaming. The processor is also paired with 64GB 6GB RAM, 128GB 6GB RAM, 128GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 8GB RAM.

In terms of camera, this device spot a quad rear cameras which are the 64mp camera with f/1.9 aperture accompanied by a dual led flash, 8mp ultra wide lens with f/2.2 aperture, 2mp macro camera with f/2.4 aperture and a 2mp depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it has a dual 20mp + 2mp selfie shooter with f/2.2 & f/2.4 aperture, both the front and back camera records video in 1080p at 30fps. What is keeping the light on is a 4,500mAh Li-Po battery which supports fast charging upto 27W. The Redmi K30 5G on the other hand has only Snapdragon 765 SoC with 30W fast charging. Aside from this, every other specifications is the same.
