Xiaomi has launched Redmi Note 10S just two months after launching the Redmi Note 10S in India. At that point, Xiaomi only announced three devices, the Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.
Just as expected, the tech manufacturers have released the fourth model within their ensemble called the Redmi Note 10S. Xiaomi also launched their smartwatch called the Redmi Watch with this smartphone in India.
Another equally fantastic thing about this smartphone is the build. It is made up of plastic, but the back and the frame (which are similarly made from plastic) look like glass and metal. The device is splash resistance and IP53-rated.
The cameras are unique in the sense that the rear camera has a quad-camera setup. It also consists of a 64-megapixel sensor, a 118 degree ultrawide 8 MP unit. The macro shooter and depth sensor are both 2 MP. The front camera is 13 MP and can be used for selfies and video calls.
Music heads will love this device for its dual stereo speakers, 3.5 mm earpiece jack, Hi-Res Audio certification. It has a USB Type-C port, a biometric sensor by its side, a z-axis linear vibration motor, infrared sensors. This device will also be accompanied by proximity sensors, a compass for navigation.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S device will have an accelerometer, a 360° ambient light sensor, and a gyroscope. Another good news for heavy phone users is the battery capacity. This is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and charges pretty fast, thanks to its 33W fast charging option.
The Redmi Note 10S retails for the following prices for different specifications:
- 6GB + 64GB – 204 USD
- 6GB + 128GB – 217 USD
Finally, the Redmi Note 10S is quite large. It is 160.46 x 74.5 x 8.29mm in dimensions, it weighs 178.8g, and comes in three different colors (Shadow Black, Deep Sea Blue, and Frost White).
From May the 18th, the Redmi Note 10S will be released at 12PM. It can be procured off amazon and the official Redmi Website. As the usage of the device increases, it will soon be sold in general retails stores.
