A tipster revealed last month that Xiaomi is working on a new smartphone dubbed Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, it is said that the smartphone will be coming with a Snapdragon 730G Chip. Now a new leak has surfaced online revealing the smartphone alongside the Redmi Note 8.
Looking at the image revealed, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T was seen at the left side while the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 was seen at the right, the placement of the quad camera, Fingerprint sensor and the Redmi branding is same as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8.
The tipster who earlier revealed the smartphone has condemned the rumour going around that the Redmi Note 8T will be coming with the Snapdragon 730G, he went ahead to say that the Redmi Note 8T specs will be really identical to the Redmi Note 8 specs, he said that the major difference between them is that the Redmi Note 8T will now be coming with NFC support, however the Xiaomi company has not said anything about the smartphone yet, so we are looking forward to hear from them.
To refresh your mind about the Redmi Note 8, it came with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch, it’s a Full HD+ display meaning that it has a resolution of 1080 by 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. The front and body of the previous Redmi Note 8 is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
It runs on Android 9 pie with MIUI 10 on top, it is powered by Snapdragon 665 SoC which has an Octa core processor clocked at 2.0GHZ paired with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage and you can extend the storage up to 128GB. There is a quad cameras at the rear which consists of 48-megapixel lens primary sensor 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, 2-megapixel dedicated macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it has a 13-megapixel selfie shooter.
It comes in three colours which are Neptune Blue, Moonlight White and Space Black. What is keeping the light on is a 4000mAh battery which supports fast charging up to 18W. We believe that the Redmi company will share a few specs of the Redmi Note 8T very soon.
