Xiaomi India has announced the launch of a new lineup of TVs from their stables. The new TV model is called the Smart TV X Series, and it comes with 4K resolution, and the series consists of three smart TV variants with different screen sizes.
Seeing that the business and preferences of Tv manufacturers and users in the market has moved from 480P-HD-Full HD content to 4K, and we see more and more content platforms adopting 4K resolution as it becomes the resolution of choice in the years to come, Xiaomi India came up with this latest Tv series.
The three additional models of the Tv sets released are 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch. All of these come with 4K resolution, refresh rate of 60 Hz, and they are now available in this series to go on sale soon.
Going further into the specifications and features, we gathered that the TVs support HDR10 and Dolby Vision. The devices run on a quad-core Cortex-A55 processor, and a Mali G52 MC1 accelerator is responsible for the graphics.
The Xiaomi Smart TV X Series system has Google voice assistant, and runs on Android TV 10 platform along with an interactive PatchWall. In addition to 3 HDMI ports (eARC x 1), it also comes with 2 USB ports and an AV and headphone port.
On the memory and storage front, the television has 2GB RAM + 8GB storage. The new range supports Dual-Band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. In addition, users can experience over 30 international and Indian contents and also make smart recommendations and contents from over 15 languages.
The Xiaomi Smart TV X Series also comes with a minimalistic remote that comes with a wide range of functions and controls, including Quick Mute, Quick Wake and Quick Settings buttons.
Xiaomi Smart TV X Series availability and pricing
The Xiaomi Smart TV X Series will only be available in the Indian markets, as sales of the TVs will start on September 14 in India. The Xiaomi Smart TV X Series price range starts from Rs 28,999 ($364.71) for the 43-inches, Rs 34,999 ($440.18) for the 50-inches, and Rs 39,999 ($503.06) for the 55-inches respectively.
