iTel unveils S23: An Affordable 4G Smartphone with up to 16GB RAM

iTel has launched its latest budget-friendly smartphone, the iTel S23. This device offers users an affordable option with impressive features and performance.

The iTel S23 comes with a 16GB RAM capacity, consisting of 8GB standard RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. There is also a variant available with 4GB RAM. All models offer a spacious 128GB internal storage capacity, providing ample space for apps and media files.

The S23 features a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The display has a dewdrop notch design and supports a 90Hz refresh rate.

Powered by the UNISOC Tiger T606 8-core CPU, the iTel S23 ensures efficient performance for daily tasks. The Mali-G57 MP1 GPU enhances graphics rendering.

The S23 is equipped with a dual-lens rear camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel main lens with Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor and PDAF for fast autofocus.

It also includes a secondary QVGA AI lens for depth information. The camera offers features like HDR, digital zoom, and dual LED flash. The device’s front camera has an 8-megapixel resolution and features HDR and FaceID.

Connectivity options include USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. The S23 also features essential sensors such as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and compass.

The iTel S23 packs a non-removable 5000mAh battery and supports 10W fast charging. It is available in Black, White, and Purple, and already on pre-order both in Africa, and some Asian Pacific regions. As for pricing the S23 is promoted at RP 1,299,000 in Indonesia, an equivalent of about 89 USD.
