During the launch of iPhone 12-series, Apple focused on the many improvements the series brought to the table over the iPhone 11-series. Now, iPhone 13 is the talk of the net, and camera improvement is going to be among the feature improvement we hope to see over the 12-series as well.

It has already been stated that the rear module on the iPhone 13-series will be larger than the ones found on the 12-series, now a new update is suggesting autofocus in the ultra-wide lens of iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max.

According to Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in an investors’ note said that the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max models will feature an upgraded ultra-wide camera lens that will support autofocus. The 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera in the current iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max does not have autofocus.

This simply mean the iPhone would be able to take better, crisper and sharper images through the ultrawide lens. He also added that next year’s iPhone 14 series could feature autofocus ultra-wide cameras in all the models.

Talking about models, we are still expecting four smartphones in the iPhone 13-series, just as seen in the current model, and this will includes iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, and the launch should still be around September/November this year.
