Samsung released the Galaxy A02s with the Galaxy A12 recently, but nothing was, or has been said about the M02s, even though Samsung treats both the A0-series and the M0-series like twin brothers sent to different markets. But if the current details revealed via Google Play Console is anything to go bye, then the M02s might be close to official release.

According to reports, a Samsung Galaxy phone modeled SM-M025F was spotted on Google Play listing, codenamed a02q. Combining the above model number and the codename could mean nothing other than a Galaxy A02s rebadged as M02s, since the A02s also has SM-A025F among it model numbers.

This means we could expect the Galaxy M02s to likely comes in a 6.5-inch HD+ display, powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 450 chipset @1.8GHz and possibly come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage.

Samsung used a triple camera setup on the current A02s, hence it won’t be out of the water to expect same setup on the upcoming M02s. One other feature we will surely love to see, carried completely to the M02s is the 5,000mAh battery on the A02s. It will be even better if Sammy could offer something bigger, say a 6000mAh juice, which will be 2000mAh upgrade over the M01, just like the A02s has 2000mAh upgrade over the A01. with 15W fast-charging support.

It is still not clear when this device will go official, as the company have not released any official statement yet. But we won’t be surprise if the Galaxy M02s meets us before the close of the year. Until then, consume this reports with a pinch of salt.
