Realme is now pushing Google Android 13 OS to two of it smartphones, the realme 9 Pro an 9 Pro+. This development is coming on the eve of the arrival of the realme 10-series.

Even though there are no mentioned critical bugs to watch out for, it is still important to note that this update is in Beta mode, and the company has warned that user should expect certain incompatibilities.

The update is available to Indian owners of the realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro+. Other regions will also get this realme UI 3.0 based Android 13 update, but probably when it is out of Beta stage. However, realme have not mentioned when to expect the final stable version of the OS.

To iinstall the new OS, realme said users will need will need one of the latest builds based on Android 12 OS, and their devices must have up to 5 GB of free storage and 60% battery power.

Recall that both the realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro Plus were announced back on February 16 of 2022. The standard Pro model came in a 6.6-inches IPS screen with FHD+ display, and up to 120Hz refresh, while the Pro+ model has 6.4-inches AMOLED screen, FHD+ resolution and 90hz refresh.

The 9 Pro has Snapdragon 695 5G CPU, while the realme 9 Pro+ is powered by the Dimensity 920 CPU. But both smartphones boots Google Android 12 with realme UI 3.0 out of the box.
